Halloween Goodie Bags

Hello Everyone

Here's pictures of  Halloween goodie bags I made.  I used my wonderful Cricut Expression, of course.  I finally used my Cricut Jukebox and love it!  No more replacing each cartridge, yea!!  Ok so I have a gypsy too and I used that to find the images..lol!!, just not cut.  I used  3 Cricut Cartridges, PaperDoll Dress-up for the images, Paper Pups for the Boo sentiment, I cannot remember which cartridge I used for the Halloween sentiment.  I really should write this stuff down:) The designer paper was from the clearance section at Hobby Lobby.  It included  Halloween and Christmas designer paper, 50 pieces total for 5.00!  The black cardstock was from Michaels, Recollection brand.  The clear bags I bought from Tuesday Morning, a while ago.  Perfect for goodie bags!

Enjoy the day!

Birthday Cards

What's up my bloggie Peeps:)

Remember earlier in the year when I said I was going to make cards to send to my family  each month for their birthday. Well it is going well and I have really enjoyed creating and sending the cards to my family.

The first one is for my brother-in-law. He is a golfer, so I thought I would do a card with a golfing theme.  I used my Cricut Expression and cricut cartridges, Sports Mania for the golfer image and Plantin Schoolbook for the sentiment on the front.  The paper is from Teresa Collins 8x8 paper pad called Fabrications.  I love this paper stack! You can't really tell in the picture, but I used glossy accents(CTMH brand) on the golfer image.

The second card is for my sister.  The paper was from a paper mat stack,All About Girlss. I bought it from  ACMoore, really cute paper.  The image is a Bella Stamp from Stampin Bella.  They were having a clearance sell on these particular images and I bought a lot of them!  I colored her with my pink Sakura glitter pen and Spectrum Noir makers.  I matted her to circles I cut using my spellbinder circle scallop dies.  The sentiment is from CTMH

The Third card is for my niece's husband.  I used  Colorboc Kraft paper from Wal-Mart.
The black cardstock is Recollections from Michael's. The button from my stash and the sentiment from Stampin Up.

Enjoy!

60th Birthday Cake

Hi Blogland !

I made this wonderful birthday cake  for my mother in law's 60th Birthday party.
It was a 3 tier, buttercream frosting and vanilla cake.  The colors were royal blue and silver. I added royal blue satin ribbon bows on two of the tiers and crystal cake bling around each tier.  I got the crystal ribbon at Hobby Lobby and it was just enough to put around each tier.  She loved it! Oh and I also made some water bottles labels to coordinate with the theme of the birthday party.  I forgot to take a picture of those, but they were really easy to make!  ( Sorry for the blurry picture, I took it with my cell phone)

My Mini Bill Planner

Hi, Ya'll:)

Today I wanted to show off my latest project, what I call my bill planner.  So for years I kept track of what bills needed to be paid in a little 5x7 notebook.  I think I have had that notebook for about 7 years now.  Well, it is on it's last leg and I needed something to replace it with.  So, I got to thinking why not make one.  Since I liked the idea of the envelope mini album, it is just condensed version of one. I have two pockets made with envelopes, I printed some lined paper to write on and put it all together with my BIA(bind it all). I made a pen to match as well  The paper pack used was Recollections Everyday Moments.  I love, love that paper pad, it is soooo pretty!  Sooo, check it out below!

Envelope Mini Album Kathy Orta Style

Hello lovely Blogland

I have finally tried my hand at making a mini album.  Now, you know mini albums tutorials are all over the web.  So I chose to follow, You Tuber Kathy Orta.  It was simple, but I would suggest you watch the video several times and get all the supplies first.  I did not do that, so I had to stop and re-start a few times..lol!  I got through it and I think it turned out really cute!.  Since, I really did not know what I was doing I chose to use some really inexpensive, but cute paper from Wally World.  It was the Colorbok Paper collection Fresh Linen. It really is cute paper, see below.  They had two different kinds of paper stacks for this one.  One paper pack had more paper, while the other had more stickers, etc.

I used black cardstock  I found at Tuesday Morning, I think it is called Paper Studio.  It was only  1.99 so  I got all they had that day:).  I added a little bling on the front with some Boa feathers I got from Wally World.  I am really happy with the way it came together.

Ok, so I did a video to show you guys what I did, so ..umm.. let's just say amateur attempt at video making..lol! Anyway, check it out below.

Blog for you soon-

Daughter's Graduation Party Decorations

My daughter graduated from high school this year..sniff..sniff.  They grow soo fast!
Anyway, we through a graduation party for her and  I made all the decorations.  Know let me say, I do not know how people do this all the time..but this was a lot of work! It was fun, but whew! She is going off to VA Tech in the fall, so I incorporated both her current school colors orange and black and her new school schools, orange and maroon in the design. My advice for those who have not done this before, start early!!! lol!!   I used my cricut, YourStory, SCAL and several cartridges for most of the decorations.  The poms, poms were made from plastic table cloths, really easy to make.  I found the tutorials for the poms, the water bottles labels,  the chocolate graduation hats and the banner on the internet.

Vertical TP Roll Mini Album

I finally made my first mini album.  I started small and made the toilet paper mini album.  I watched the you tube tutorial by My Sisters Scrapper.  She does the best, most thorough tutorials I have seen on You Tube for mini albums!  Don't you just love you tube!  Everyone is soo generous with their knowledge, its just great to be able to learn from such wonderful, creative people.  I used scraps from two left over 6x6 paper pads, Authentique and MME Lost and Found.  The black ribbon is from the dollar tree, the sticker was from a leftover Teresa Collins paper pack, the black cardstock is paper studio corduroy I bought at Tuesday Morning. I was happy with the way it came together.  It is now sitting on my desk at work.  Love it!

Wedding Card

So, today I am showing another card made with the Bella Stamps.  This is the wedding couple image.  I kept it simple, just black and white, with a little bling with  silver glitter glue and gems.  It is really cute.  I love the way the card turned out.

Farewell to a friend card

A very good friend of mine, I've worked with for 10 + years is leaving.  So, I made this card for her to wish her good luck on her new journey.  The card image is from Stampin Bella.  I have wanted some of their stamps for sooo long!  Recently, they had this big clearance sale and I bought alot of the Bella stamps.. great score!!   I colored the image with my Spectrum Noir markers, first time using those on an actual card.  Pretty happy with the results!

Birthday Cake for My Niece

I made this number 10 birthday cake for my niece this month.
This was her request, a number 10 cake with Hello Kitty on it.  I carved the number"1" out of a 10 inch square cake.  The number "0" is just an 8 inch round cake.  I printed the Hello Kitty from the web onto edible image paper.  The Happy Birthday, I cut using my cricut cake machine and a sheet of edible image paper.

Here is a card I made for my sister for her birthday this month.  This is a z-fold card.  The paper base is from paper  I bought from Tuesday Morning for like a $1.99.  It is gray and has a shimmer to it, really pretty!  The decorative paper is from a paper pack from Michael's recollection collection, Everyday Moments.  I love this paper!  I used the scallop spellbinders for the inside oval.

Birthday Card Set

My sister asked me to make her another set of birthday cards, this time more for adults.
I made a ton of cards for her and used a variety of papers and my cricut.

Enjoy!
Kim

This set was actually made out of a set of cards I bought from AC Moore around Christmas.

This set I used the Happy Birthday Cuttlebug folder, some twine and ribbon. Simple and cute!

This is last set I used paper from  the 6x6 Authentic Paper pad.  I love this paper!

This is a baby shower card she asked me to make.  It turned out sooo cute!
I used the New arrival cart for the rattle, the words and blinged that out with glitter glue..

This is the sympathy card she asked me to make as well.

This card was just an extra one I created.  It was an idea I had and it turned out nice.
