Happy Holidays!

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
I did:)  We started a fire in the fireplace on Christmas Eve, listened to our favorite Christmas Songs and enjoyed the evening.  I am truly blessed.

Now for my Crafty Talk:)....I handmade my Christmas Cards again this year.  I sooo enjoyed creating these cards this year!
I used 2 different paper packs from American Crafts found at AC Moore. A combination of stamps from different places, CTMH, Stampin Up and Michael's 1.00 Spot.  For the Snowflakes,  I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and the ribbon is from Dollar Tree, White Satin.  They have this ribbon year round, so a great bargain when you are making a lot of cards during the holidays!

This card was sent to Family. I thought the Snow family was soo cute, they had glittered accents so pretty!

The next 4 cards went to friends and coworkers
.

These two cards were made for my DH clients.

Cardstock Mini Album

Hello Blogland:)

Last week, I was looking for inspiration for a birthday gift for my MIL.  So, of course I checked my favorite go to spot..Pinterest!  (I luv that site!)  There, I came across this Pin for a cardstock mini album tutorial by  .  OMG, this was exactly what I was looking for and it was so eeeeasy!!  For my design, I used two different types of patterned paper, Stampin Up Love Letter and Teresa Collins Fabrications. Both of these papers had the color scheme I was looking for which was red, black and cream.
The base of the card and the mini album was black cardstock that I had gotten from Tuesday Morning for $1.99.  (Great deal on that! )  I just followed along with the video and TaDa!.. see my pretty mini album and matching birthday card below!

The warm weather, the birds chirping, the flowers blooming.  Ahhh beautiful:)  I have these two big trees in my front yard and they bloom with these big, white, puffy flowers.  Gorgeous!!  What's even better is when the wind blows the petals fall off the trees, its like snow in the spring..  Ahhh... don't you just love the beauty of nature!!

CTMH Stella Paper Project 4

For the last project, I created 2 gift card holders.  They are both of the same design.  I wanted to make something that was a little more masculine, so the orange, brown and copper was a great combination.  I used the Orange Stella cardstock that came in the Consultant Kit.  The DSP on the front of the card came from  DCWV paper pack named, the Naturals.  The Stamp on the inside is the Wishing You A Special Stamp, also from the kit.   The gift card holders were really easy to make.  Fun project!

P.S.  They would make great holders for the Studio J membership cards as well!

CTMH Stella Paper Project 2

The second project I created with the Stella Paper, was another scrapbook layout.    For this layout, I used the flower embellishments and buttons that came with the kit.   The paper and embellishments in the kit really do work well together.  I also used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge for the mat design and the outline of that same design on the other layout.  I cut some of the words from one of the Stella Papers to add to each layout.

First Ever Scrapbook Layouts

Well, let me just say they were not difficult to do.  I looked at few layouts from some of my favorite craft bloggers.  Perused through a few Idea books and this is what I came up with.  They can be single layouts or double layouts, just depends on the pictures.  Most of the paper used was from a  K & Co paper pack called Handmade, which I've had in my stash for a while.  I got it on clearance at M's.
I don't have any pictures on them yet, but I will do that real soon.  Let me know what you think. :)
